A True and Tradgic Story of A Mothers Worst Nightmare Jan 21, 2010
By F. W. MOON
"Sandra K. Moom"
In this story the Author shares in great detail how she dealt with the devastating death of her 19 year old son. It portrays the agony and pain she experiences. Grief that no parent should ever have to endure. This is a true story of a mother's undying love for her only child and his love for her. A model family that experiences a tragedy no mother or family should ever have to endure. We see that in an instant how a life can completely come undone, never to be the same again.
From the beginning the Author tells of her innermost grief and suffering. She candidly shares what most of us do not know or understand in the attempt to console someone who is experiencing the death of a loved one. And finally, she reclaims her life and uses her energy to explain the things she does in order to keep her sons memory alive. In my opinion this is one of the most insightful and inspirational books I have read. There is so much to be learned from this thought provoking story of the untimely death of a child, and the recovery that is necessay to go on with life.

A Mother's Survival Jan 21, 2010
By Fred ...keeping Clarke. will help so many who are and will be taking a similar journey. I am one of those. While reading this book, I felt every emotion known to man. It was so intimate, I felt that I came to know Clarke. Toward the end, I could actually feel the new Stephanie evolving - scarred, but stronger, closer to God and intent on ...keeping Clarke.

Keeping Clarke Jan 07, 2010
By Susan J. Sheftel
"Schnebliemama"
It's true...unless you've experienced it your self you don't have a clue. As soon as the book arrived I was completely overcome. I tore into the story written by my friend and couldn't put it down.
There isn't anyone who hasn't been touched by someone's story if not their own. And..it's true....people CAN'T imagine! How generous of Stephanie to open her heart and her gut and share her experience so that the rest of us can gain some insight into a journey no one wants to take.

Healing Dec 02, 2009
By Terri Washburn
"Terri W."
'Keeping Clarke' is a beautifully written journey into the family and the heart of the author. As I reached the end of the book, I too, celebrated Clarke's life. Having suffered the loss of my nephew, I found great healing in this story. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has lost a loved one or knows someone who has.
