Fighter Pilot's Guide - Funny & Insightful Feb 09, 2009
By S. Gall

This book is written by one of my best friends and my former Naval Academy roommate, so if there is bias so be it. Simply put, this book is a great read. It is insightful, has Ken's own brand of humorous wisdom and is as entertaining as it is informative. Everyone who reads it will come away with at least one quote or passage that will stick with them long after the book is put down. If you are looking for insights into life and relationships from a unique point of view then learn it from someone who has lived at a mach 2 and above.
As our Academy class ring says, and Ken points out in the book: Sibi Aequum. Get the book and figure it out. I, of course, got a signed copy. :)

A Fighter pilot's guide to American Bachelorhood Sep 11, 2008
By Kay V. Bartram Don't judge a book by its' cover...As a woman, I've taken this book as it was meant..full of fun with some serious moments. To women who think they will be offended...stop...read it! Stevens is trying to reach young men who really don't grasp the female spirit...at times 'tongue-in-cheek' other times 'poking fun' at the inexperiences of men in understanding women. Explaining the mysteries of relationships, when there really isn't any mystery....just try common sense in the heat of the moment. But, it's not all about the female/male mystique..'Zip' Stevens gives some valuable "how-to's" on living a good & honorable life, day-to-day...keeping friends & concluding that a happy marriage can be attained with a little luck thrown in. It's a 'fun read' for all.

By Joe Santora I read the book in just a few hours. I've had a lot of contact with young men who had few if any fatherly types of people in their lives, and it would be great for them. It's definitely for adults only due to the sex chapters and some rare vulgarities. It's also very general in spots. But Connor Stevens, which appears to be a pen name according to the last page, does a great job of taking on important man issues and quickly driving the points home. It's pretty hilarious and a very fast read allowing its major audience to embrace it. Well worth the money even if you're an older female and just want a good giggle.
