Having a fell pony that is used for both pleasure and work and also having an interest in working ponies in general, I can strongly recommend this book. It tells about the way Jenifer Morrissey chronicled her early years with the fell pony. It is a warts and all account of her goal to breed true to type, and be capable of what fell ponies are best at WORK and with time and perseverance how you can have a good working pony that is a pleasure to own and work with. Jenifer and her ponies are surely great ambassadors for the fell pony breed.

I couldn't wait to start reading this book, and then I couldn't stop reading once I started. It was so nice to learn about Jenifer's introduction to Fell Ponies. Very entertaining, and a job well done!
