A Life at Gethsemane is an autobiographical/self-help book based on a personal battle with depression so severe that it led to an attempted suicide. The title is inspired by Christ's night at Gethsemane; He spent a night in the garden praying that His Father would remove His cup of suffering. Those of us who suffer from depression experience what seems like a lifetime of nights at Gethsemane.
