Spiritually enlightening and uplifting Book Nov 12, 2009 I find Saeed Malik's "A Perspective on the Signs of Al-Quran: Through the Prism of the Heart" spiritually uplifting and enlightening. All throughout Mr. Malik puts the heart at the center of everything. The wisdom of Al Quran too flows into an open heart.
Spirituality and sincerity go together to find the peace of heart and mind. This in short is the essence of Saeed Malik's book. As an interfaith leader, I have rarely come across a Muslim religious writer who expresses so well as Saeed Malik does that God's grace is for all---not just for `Muslims' (See his book for his distinction between `Muslim' and `muslim'). Malik delivers his message by quoting from the Quran.

Loved It! Nov 10, 2009 Last Ramadan, I read a translation of the Holy Quran.
Reading this book helped me to enjoy the depth of the message of the Quran lost in literal translations.
I must say this book answers many questions I had after reading the Quran. I found this book very well researched.
This book should be in every Muslim and Non-Mulslim's "MUST HAVE List".

Through the Prism of the Heart Oct 21, 2009 I confess that I am a slow reader. It took me a while but I read it. Sometimes, I had to read some chapters again not because I forgot but because I found them having a unique perspective not commonly found in books written around religious themes.
The most enlightening were the references and quotes in Quran about Christians and Jews, their recognition and the acceptance of the religions and prophets that brought these religions to the masses in their times. The book by Mr. Saeed Malik opens a window for the reader to look into the philosophy of Quran without getting tangled up in rights and wrongs, yours and mine and believers and non-believers.
I recommend this book for those who have curiosity and thirst to learn about the book (Quran)that has remained unchanged for centuries and is still current in all of its teachings to apply and practice in the twenty first century and beyond.
The prism disperses the sun light into its basic colors of the rainbow. You can appreciate the beauty of each color and understand how different colors all point to the same light as a source. This message is nicely narrated with explanations and translations of the verses from Quran.
