An inspiring and beautiful story for readers of all ages! Sep 25, 2009
A very inspiring tale that I higly recommend to every parent. A pure and simple story, which readers of all ages will identify with, A Queedom Blessed by Grace delivers a universal message that each of us has the power to make a better world by letting "the kindness in our heart shine for everyone to see".
As a parent of three (8, 5 and 3), I particularly enjoy reading this story to my children as a beautiful way to reinforce life's essential values of love and kindness.
Refreshing and uplifting! Apr 27, 2009
As a former educator and a mom, how refreshing to find a non-commercial book about princesses. In my own life, I have been striving to expose my daughter to the concept of true leadership of a "king", "queen", "princess", or other archetype. Archetypes are an important part of any traditional literature approach with children, and sadly, have been lost to commercial interests.
The author combines this tradition with a refreshing new spiritual angle on just plain being a kind and helpful person, again, a value which many of wish to see in children's literature. The artwork is real art, another feature which in modern times has been replaced by cartoons. How refreshing and exciting to see real watercolor paintings that children can connect with in addition to the storyline.
In my opinion as an educator, the storyline and watercolor paintings match very nicely. I highly recommend this book to any parent!
Inspiring Tale for all ages Mar 30, 2009
We have a 6 year old Boy and 2 year old girl, both love this wonderful story about how your world is simply a reflection of you. I read this book to my 6 year old's class and the entire class repeated in unison whenever I read (the soon to be famous passage): "I am hear, so there's nothing to fear, how can I help you my dear?" They all loved this story and continue to talk about it!Our 2 year old now wants a sparkling purple staff with a shiny red heart of her very own, so she can spread joy around her own Queendom.Fantastic message, great illustrations and an inspiring message we all can live by. We look forward to more stories by this great new author, who reminds us to live each day leading with our hearts to create a beautiful world around us.

Jennifer Lazinsk creates a world of beauty and inspiration in her first children's book. Plentitude is a land we can all aspire to: giving, gorgeous, and full of light and love. The young princess, through her generous spirit, nourishes her soul and those around her, creating an environment of unsurpassed color and splendor. The book's beautiful message and sweet illustrations will delight all ages. It's a journey to read again and again, to soak in the wonders of Plentitude and the power of a giving heart. Many kudos to the author who truly understands the importance of teaching, through a beautiful story, invaluable lessons to our children. My wife, daughter, and I were moved to tears by the purity of Grace's kind, empathetic and loving ways. Our five year old little girl recites the phrase that is used throughout the book, and has even said to us that it's "Amazing that we can all create a beautiful life just by how much we give to others." All three of us love this beautifully illustrated and extraordinary book, whose captivating story focuses on the values of kindness, compassion, integrity and empathy in creating the beauty around us.
