Extraordinarily beautiful children's treasure Mar 03, 2009

What child wouldn't love this extraordinary fable and the message it so clearly communicates. What child would not identify with the beautiful (inside and out), loving, selfless princess of this fairytale for all ages....and want to be good, just like her?
This warm, enchanting story of what true goodness can accomplish touched my heart like no other children's book I have ever read. It should be required reading for ages 5-100. The illustrations, so beautiful and imaginitive, warmed the cockles of my heart and made me want to be right there with her, sharing in the wonders of the enchanting queendom.
If you want to give a child in your life a positive foundation on which to build character and the way to respect and treat others, this is a MUST READING for them to go to sleep and dream by.

Inspirational and heartfelt message we all need to hear Feb 19, 2009

This beautiful, warm story touches the hearts of all ages! The adults will love all the lessons embedded throughout, and the children (in us all) will love hearing a sweet adventure unfold while their true nature-that loving, non-judgemental innocence in every child-identifies with the princess. The gorgeous illustrations spark the imagination to bring the story alive within, and the more we read it, the more we are inspired to embody the qualities found in this queendom. Should be on every child-of-the-new-millenium's bookshelf!

My kids are gripped by the clarity of right and wrong portrayed in this story. The emotions that the characters express are easily identified with, and the outcome is glorious. A welcome change from so many vapid children's books!

A very inspiring tale that I higly recommend to every parent. A pure and simple story, which readers of all ages will identify with, A Queedom Blessed by Grace delivers a universal message that each of us has the power to make a better world by letting "the kindness in our heart shine for everyone to see".
As a parent of three (8, 5 and 3), I particularly enjoy reading this story to my children as a beautiful way to reinforce life's essential values of love and kindness.

As a former educator and a mom, how refreshing to find a non-commercial book about princesses. In my own life, I have been striving to expose my daughter to the concept of true leadership of a "king", "queen", "princess", or other archetype. Archetypes are an important part of any traditional literature approach with children, and sadly, have been lost to commercial interests.
The author combines this tradition with a refreshing new spiritual angle on just plain being a kind and helpful person, again, a value which many of wish to see in children's literature. The artwork is real art, another feature which in modern times has been replaced by cartoons. How refreshing and exciting to see real watercolor paintings that children can connect with in addition to the storyline.
In my opinion as an educator, the storyline and watercolor paintings match very nicely. I highly recommend this book to any parent!
