In A Reversal of Thought Robert Van Waldick writes a thought provoking personal journey of his spiritual awakening and how he became aware of a `new truth'. R.L. Van Waldick reviews this journey through the last 40 years of his life and guides his readers through the three main teachings of his `reversal of thought': the writings of a Yaqui Indian spiritual leader Don Juan, A Course of Miracles, and a Christian mystic Edgar Cayce. Van Waldick does an exceptional job giving adequate explanations and interpretations of these readings if you are not familiar with them, including many quotes to show where and how his ideas formed into this new reality which he could not deny.
This book explores Van Waldick's thoughts and revelation of truths as he dissects these inspirational texts. "This book is a journey of awakening from illusion to reality. It's an awakening of what we think is real in this physical world to what is truly real and forever." Van Waldick places a responsible emphasis on living a spiritual life of positivity and awareness and goes on to provide a detailed plan to achieve the same kind of awakening. He seeks logical and simple solutions to everyday living with his straight forward writing style and researched theories. He does not profess himself as a guru, but shares his journey with the hopes that it will help you along yours.
I strongly recommend this book to anyone looking for a new spiritual journey of awakening and the way to an all-loving God.
