A Souvenir For My Mom: First Hand Accounts From The 2009 US Presidential Inauguration

A Souvenir For My Mom: First Hand Accounts from the 2009 US Presidential Inauguration, captures the feelings of the people that came to the Washington, DC area to witness the historic event on January 20th, 2009 through interviews and firsthand accounts. The book was written and interviews filmed by the Author of "Ice Cream Melts", Nnamdi Godson Osuagwu. The book has an associated blog called “What’s Your Inauguration 2009 Story?” and encourages readers to watch Inauguration footage and blog in their own Inauguration stories on the company’s website. All of the books published by Ice Cream Melts Publishing are interactive and have an associated online social networking component. These components enable readers to interact on the company's website (www.IceCreamMelts.com) through blogging, vlogging (video blogging) or just sharing comments based on topics read in the book. We enjoy providing a forum for our readers to share their stories online after reading our books offline.

5Were you there?  Oct 24, 2009
By LOCKSIE "ARC Book Club Inc"
A first hand account from author Nnamdi Godson Osuagwu as he like so many others head to Washington DC to be apart of history as Barack Obama becomes the first African American President.

Mr. Osuagwu does a great job capturing in pictures as well as in print the energy and excitement of a variety of people who were happy to share their thoughts, comments, and out look for the future under our new President.

I was unable to be there but through this vivid book I was able to capture the essence of what it was like at this special Inauguration that is now a part of history.

Kudos to Mr. Osuagwu for sharing his experience with us!

The accounts depicted in this book are as genuine as they come. It is this type of authenticity that keeps the reader going. Great job!
