Accidental Slave. Sep 07, 2009 This is my first Claire Thompson, but not my last. I was looking, as usual, for good bdsm fiction and found it here. I liked the story and also was glad that it didn't go into perverted land. All in all, this is an excellent bdsm novel/erotica for those of us who are fans and like to read all we can on the subject. Overall it was a great read. Another good one is Breaking the Girl and Eager to Please: Two Erotic Novels of Submission.

Accidental Slave by Claire Thompson reviewed by [...] Jul 29, 2009 Elizabeth Martin is finally on top of the advertising world, garnering a great executive spot at an exclusive advertising agency. Most of her co-workers are happy for her, excerpt for one disgruntled colleague, Gary. When Elizabeth asks Gary to be her escort at an upcoming charity auction, he leaps at the chance, plotting to drug her drink and take her to an exclusive slave auction instead. What will Elizabeth's reaction be when she realizes she's not at the charity auction and is now the property of a Dom?
When an author can weave kink into a well-written plot driven story, I know I'm in for a rare treat. Claire Thompson really shines as a premiere BDSM writer in Accidental Slave. Elizabeth has no idea what she's in for when Cole Pearson buys her at the slave auction. Cole attends the auction hoping maybe this will be the day he'll find a submissive to speak to his romantic soul. He immediately notices that something's wrong with Elizabeth and suspects foul play.
Getting Elizabeth back to his apartment, Cole finds out the truth behind her being there at the auction. Figuring out Elizabeth is an utter newbie to the D/s scene, he allows her to decide if she wants a D/s relationship with him. Initially reluctant to allow Cole to assist her, she's touched by the way he defends her, giving her encouragement to combat Gary's ugliness. Driven like a moth to a flame, Cole wisely gives her little tastes of BDSM, taking her to new heights in submission with their every meeting. Under his tutelage, Elizabeth blossoms into a woman who is comfortable with her sexuality, able to give Cole the submissive of his dreams.
Ms. Thompson unites two unlikely characters destined to be together in Accidental Slave. I was hooked from its first sentence and chortled with glee as justice finally comes to Gary at this book's wonderful end.

Best Book I've read in Quite a While!!!!! Jun 23, 2009 I purchased Accidental Slave about a month ago. It was EXCELLENT, really it was one of the best books I've read recently. Cole was a great Dom character, both alpha and understanding. And Elizabeth is no wimpy female submissive; her underlying strength is impressive and matched perfectly to Cole's gentle control.
I'd love to encounter Cole and Elizabeth as returning characters in another book down the road...maybe one of them has a sibling/cousin/close friend that's just calling out for a soul mate? no harm in hinting, huh..LOL
This is an excellent book that'll leave you melting in your chair. If you're looking for an alpha male with a tender side and a woman with strength who chooses to submit to him - then click the link to buy this book TODAY - you won't be sorry.

Happy Reading!!!

Accidental Slave Apr 08, 2009 Elizabeth is a work-a-holic in a high powered job. An employee is jealous believing her job should be his. His idea of revenge could cost Elizabeth her job.
Cole is a Dom trying to find the perfect sub to complete his life. At an auction he bids for a woman who catches his eye, wondering if she could be the one.
Cole realizes Elizabeth didn't put herself up for sale, but he sees potential is the woman. Elizabeth wakes up in a strange home only to find out her life has been turned upside down. Can the two find true love through the lies?
No safe word necessary for Accidental Slave, you'll be begging for more.
Accidental Slave is a story of finding oneself for the first time. Claire Thompson puts together a complex tale of intrigue and love with a little BDSM threw in for good measure. Okay, it is more then a little BDSM. Cole is a strong Dom and he hopes Elizabeth could be his sub for more then just play. Elizabeth knows nothing about the BDSM world until an employee thrust her into the scene.
I love what Ms. Thompson did with Accidental Slave I just wish she would have threaded the secondary story of the revenge throughout to the end of the story. I guess I'm blood thirsty and wanted more. The focus on Elizabeth's learning her way though a world she isn't sure she belongs in is wonderful and seeing it through not only her eyes, but Cole's as well gave me the feel of a well rounded story. Ms. Thompson took me on a journey and I didn't want it to end. Watching Elizabeth blossom under Cole's care was a sight to behold and I can't wait for more from Ms. Thompson because she always delivers.

Hot Romantic Exploration of BDSM Feb 21, 2009 Accidental Slave is a wonderful examination of a romantic BDSM relationship. Elizabeth and Cole are both well developed characters and the chemistry between them is immediate. The best part about this book is that it is truly an exploration of BDSM as Elizabeth is brand new and has no experience whatsoever. She is thrust into the world by a jealous co-worker and ends up a part of a lifestyle that she had no idea she was needing. Following Elizabeth as she uncovers her hidden desires and analyzes her newfound freedom is captivating and thought-provoking. The sex between these two is highly erotic and intense and makes for a very scintillating read as Elizabeth and Cole navigate through various trials and work to find out if they can form a relationship that will provide them both with what they need most. A highly recommend read for both readers familiar with Claire Thompson's work as well as new readers looking for an author with a solid grasp of the BDSM lifestyle!
