 Refreshingly & Generously Insightful Nov 10, 2009
Madison Hildebrand shares insights with a very fresh and awesome, positive, upbeat approach to handling real estate marketing from an agent's perspective. Yes, these skills can be incorporated to other careers, however this book mainly focuses on real estate marketing and it's related challenges. Of course his Malibu Market is unique, however it is very refreshing and inspiring, as he shares his intelligence and insights from both his mentor and personal experience, and can be applicable to any real estate market and region. I am a big fan of the Bravo TV show so wanted to read Madison's book. I could not put this book down. I am not in real estate or sales but always interested in personal stories of success. This book does not disappoint. Why Madison is so compelling is because he is not afraid to share his flaws, demons and struggles. He uses them and defeats them to create a successful career. He shares his journey with missions statements, lists and funny stories. There is a great story about his mentor the vegan joining him at a house full of animal heads mounted on the walls. You will love this book.

I read this book as soon as I was finished passing my real estate license and I couldn't believe how insightful and inspiring it was! Madison Hildebrand is by far my favorite person on Million Dollar Listing, and his refreshing style definitely shines from cover to cover. I recommend this book to ANYONE who is not only trying to become successful in real estate, but also anyone who is trying to become successful in any aspect of life! "Activate Your Passion, Create Your Career" is completely full of information (most of which I would never have thought of) on how to take control of your dreams and career. After reading, it was very clear how Madison became as successful as he is!

I just finished reading Activate Your Passion by Madison Hildebrand and it was a pleasure to read. At first, I thought it would only pertain to real estate agents, but now I know that is not the case. I am a commercial photographer and have been looking through many business books for that extra motivational push. This book definitely delivered. I enjoyed the way he juxtaposes his personal life experiences with his ideas of being successful. Madison's ideas are easy to understand, his words are inspiring, and his proven track record make this book a must read for anyone wanting to be successful and happy.

I think this is the first book in the last couple of years that has kept me interested from front to back. I'm a young Realtor....a year younger than Madison, so I found his words very inspiring. Well written, great ideas & enjoyable. I'm breaking into the Luxury Housing Market in my area, so it's nice to see that a hard working younger professional is capable of achieving such sales....very inspirational!
