It was not immediately apparent to Louis Serrabella that his wife was ill. Her behavior had drastically changed. Her once pleasant personality had grown sullen, and it seemed like he was in constant trouble with her. She would sulk for days on end, and would answer with a frigid 'NOTHING!' when asked what was wrong.

This is the story of how one man responded to the challenge when he was told his wife had Alzheimers disease. He narrates the events in his life that he feels taught him to find the patience and compassion to properly care for his wife.

It is the true love story of two people who were fortunate enough to have come from loving families, and were able to instill that love into their own family. The good times, and the bad times, are affectionatly told with an abundance of good humor and sensibility. The deep feelings of friends, family, and the feelings of the author in particular, are laid bare for all to behold.
