Leviticus Jul 20, 2008
From Sandals in the Dust to Abraham and the Middle East to the first three books of the companion series to the Bible. I have read them all. The last being Leviticus. Here is my review:
Leviticus review by Mary E. Preece
I have been reading a companion Bible series of books written by Dr. M.E. Rossson. Having just finished Leviticus the hardest of the three to understand yet still easy, I have done a lot of thinking about it. The laws of God handed down through the ancient generations some of which had written law pertaining to them were for a purpose even unto us today.
Leviticus tells about all the sacrifices and rituals the early believers had to do when one of God's laws was broken. In one place the companion book describes them as having to obey the rules of sacrifice to the extent of a breadth of hair or otherwise they had failed to do it properly and restitution had to be made even then.
The book of Leviticus means more to me now that I have read the companion book and see that all those sacrifices were real and were for a purpose of learning how to keep God's laws in our hearts and minds and to know that our consciences are seared for a reason when we do wrong. Today how blessed we are to go to Jesus the one who gives us grace and pardon for our sins and our mistakes by way of the Holy Spirit if we have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior.
I encourage everyone to get the companion series to the Bible by M.E. Rosson. You will be glad you did, for you will want to refer to them over and over as you read your Bible.

Easiest to Read and Understand Commentary on Leviticus! Dec 28, 2007 All of the Books of the Bible volume Three written by author M.E. Rosson is one of the most easy to read, easy to understand commentaries of the book of Leviticus. Written as if the author is speaking directly to you and telling you things about the scriptures that you quite possibly do not know. If you will read the chapters first and then read the commentary that is given, you will have a better understanding of what the Bible actually says. There will be more books in this series and I want to encourage you to purchase these books as they will become a prized possession in your personal library and I assure you that you will refer to them time and time again.
