Angela Lee has passed away Jan 01, 2011
By Paula So sorry to say that I learned today (1/1/11) that Angela Lee Miller has passed away. So sad. By the way, 1111 is the sign of divinity. Maybe she really was an angel.

A journey Jan 05, 2009
By G. Ware Cornell Jr.
"anotherlawyer"
Angie has been a friend of mine basically forever. Her story reminds me of the remarks made at my own high school graduation by an elderly newspaper editor that he would so "like to be around to see how you struggle with your lives." At the time I thought he was bats. We were the chosen generation. Our parents' mistakes would not be repeated by us.
Over time I have seen how we not only repeated many of our parents' errors, we made some altogether new ones . And yet we endure even as we continue to struggle with our lives.
Angie has great courage to expose herself so honestly. She has looked in the mirror and not flinched. In short while it is an autobiography of struggle it is not a cautionary tale. It is true story of conquest. And, even if you are not from Miami, you should read her book.

A page-turner depicting a highly personal God Jan 11, 2008
By Jane I enjoyed this book on many levels. First, I grew up in Miami and attended Carrollton on Main Highway where the banyan trees grow. Second, I have attended Plymouth Congregational Church and appreciate the natural beauty of its setting and the faithfulness of its congregation. And third, I am a student of theology who incessantly ponders the nature of God and God's relationship to individuals.
In reading Angela Lee's account of her spiritual experiences, I find that I neither believe nor disbelieve her description of her highly personal relationship with God. It may be "magical thinking" or it may be a unique relationship with God. Most importantly, her faith pulled her through and helped her get her life back together. She has a worthwhile story to tell and I admire her courage.
Wonderful! Jul 11, 2007
By C. Bogue I first read an article about Angela Lee in the Miami Herald Newspaper and immediately sent for her book, "American Angel". It was a wonderful read and truly an inspiration to me on my journey through "Life and Spirituality". Highly recommend!!
Truly Inspirational Apr 08, 2007
By T. Jewell This is a story of a remarkable life. There are struggles and disappointment, but through it all the writer survives. She is stronger and more determined. A real inspirational story.
