born in 1919.He is a retired physician.For 60 years he hasbeen a medical educator at two universities .He is anEmeritus Professor of Child Psychiatry of the Univ. of Pittsburgh .He is a widower.He is a father of three chiildren ,all of them are married and in the professions of medicine and childhood education.he is a grandfather of five children.he has published scientific articles and several books.
