A unique format and richly drawn, compelling characters make for a great read. I laughed, I cried, I couldn't put it down. I look forward to seeing more from this author.
I Loved This Book Jun 23, 2009

I think this book is so fresh and unique in the way that it's told that it's a must read. I love the characters and feel as if they are real. They jump off the page more than any characters I've ever read before, and when the book was over, I wondered what they were doing now. There are some really brilliant moments in this novel. I hope you buy this book and read this author. If I could give this 10 stars, I would, but the maximum was only five. Doralynn

Way to go Ann! This is an amazing piece of work. Anyone that can generate so many emotions with just dialogue is brilliant! It's funny, sad, creative, and oh so well done! I applaud you!

Review of Around the World & 80 Conversations Jun 22, 2009
By Jennifer Lopez
"Jeni"
This is an extremely engaging read, and given that the author has managed to harness the subtle nuance and `voice' of each character, with this all dialogue novel, speaks to her writing talent. Kudos to a writer unafraid to step out of the box and explore a format that isn't often used, and has done so with intricate expertise. Jayne's trials and tribulations are at once tragic and amusing, thoughtful and inspiring. I'm forever grateful I happened across this charming story, written in such a unique way.
Around the World & 80 Converstaions. Jun 22, 2009
By Patti Yaeger I was one of the lucky ones to get to watch this wonderful book come to its fruition. From its first chapter I knew this writer had a winner. It is different .. it is funny .. it is sad... it is scary... a love story.. survival story.. emotional survival and physical survival..
The characters are believable and colorful. It is a novel you will most likely not put down before completing it. Wonderful respite from the daily rituals called life. Especially in these trying times.
I love this book!
