Ask a Rabbi.com : Judaism : Questions and Answers from the Internet (Volume 1)

Ask a Rabbi takes Jewish readers deep into their religious heritage, and gives non-Jewish readers fascinating insights into the Orthodox Branch of one of the world's three major religions. Rabbi David Costa has packed his questions-and-answers book with topics that range from the Jewish view of the "holocaust" to capital punishment; from pre-marital sex to medical ethics; from gun control to "the beauty of a woman"; from abortion to suicide and euthanasia. The questions in this book, like this one from "Thomas," were directed originally to the Ask-a-Rabbi website:

I am a diabetic and orthodox Jew. I would like to know if it is okay for me to use insulin that is made from pork? My doctor says that this type of insulin is the only thing that will help me.

Rabbi Costa's candid, pull-no-punches answers reflect both his compassion and the depth of his knowledge of Orthodox Judaism.

If you want to know the Orthodox Jewish position on anything, and you don't want to dig into sometimes difficult-to-read rabbinical archives, look in this book first; you're likely to find what you are looking for! Ask a Rabbi could very well be called Everything You Wanted to Know about Orthodox Judaism, but Were Afraid to Ask!

5A very good book for every Jewish house  Feb 17, 2001
Asking a rabbi in person is not always easy. With this book I got the reply to many of my questions about Judaism and I really enjoyed the nice stories included. Extensive glossary at the end.

Really a good book advised to every Jew or non Jew interested in Judaism.
