A very pleasant and enjoyable way to know a likeable person Sep 15, 2009
By Earl J. Mason Ruminations? I immediately thought this could be something related to the lower GI tract. However, this turned out not to be the case,- in spite of a funny poem about beans. The book consists of amusing impressions and short stories about the life of an observant Brooklyn jew who went through Harvard Medical School and beyond and at ther same time experienced interesting and amusing life-stories. The "ruminations" are told with delightful good humor. After finishing the book my reflection was a surprising feeling that I had really got to know the author intimtely, and it was good fun. I think you will thoroughly enjoy getting to know the author from his amusing, personal stories.humor
