Sharpen your Act by just improving the basics Mar 15, 2009
By Kristin S. Kaufman
"Principle, Alignment, Inc" ( and colleague of Noel Tichy from the NYC Leadership Academy experience)"
Paula Asinof is a seasoned professional who is reminding us to 'take care of the basics' to achieve competitive differentiation. How we 'show up', especially in these tough times, will certainly make a difference. This can be as simple as how we introduce ourselves, our 'elevator pitch', our one page 'bio' and 'leave behind'...these will make the difference in today's sea of unemployed and/or high potentials looking to achive greatness! Worth the read - a simple, yet incredibly powerful - book of golden nuggets. Highly recommend.

By Marcia Borello This book was provided by a friend who was aware that I would soon be making a career change. It is an invaluable tool, especially if you have not been job hunting for some time and need a new, fresh approach to market yourself. Thank you to the authors who did a great job!

Best Bio and Introduction book around Oct 17, 2011
By Susan Chritton I am a Career & Personal Branding Strategist who has been asked to write Personal Branding for Dummies (to be published in May 2012). I have been using "Be Sharp" book with my clients for the last couple of years and love it. I have recommended it to all of the coaches on a corporate assignment as well. I will be showcasing some of the material in my book.
