This book is has heirloom potential. It passes on some very old ideas that have been forgotten. The artwork is a perfect compliment to the lovely poetic content. You'll have your kids asking for it rather than Finding Nemo or The Lion King. You will also find yourself picking it up after they fall asleep and reading it yourself. This is also reccomended with "Faery Tale Castle"

I have purchased this Author/Illustrator's books before, I have never been disappointed. The colors and artwork is enough to make you buy the book, but then when you add the story poems its a must have.Anyone of any age who loves fantasy will love this.
