Curt Barry's business book is not for everyone - but it IS for EVERY cataloger out there, and anyone involved in a business where fulfillment of orders is required. Fulfillment is one of the big things that sets catalogers apart - getting the right items out to customers fast. Curt Barry is the acknowledged master in this area, and this book is a must read for anyone operating in an environment where product fulfillment is required. Barry and his co-authors deliver in a big way!
Remember doing book reports? Nov 21, 2008
By John R. - Cataloger Don't know about you but has been a while since I've done the equivalent of a book report. I just completed an assigment from the president of our business to go through Curt Barry's book and develop a list of opportunities for our company to make improvements. I came away with 43 topical areas that are rich in opportunity. For many of the 43 topics, even though our team may have been aware of the best practice, we are not executing it optimally or not at all. The book is a great resource for a quick company wide assessment of best practice.
