Toni Starr mysteriously disappears on her way home from Reno, and emotions run raw as the Starr Investigations team's efforts prove fruitless. Parallel to finding Toni, their high-end computer capabilities are sought by the FBI in an Internet robbery case. Unknown to all, this case will bring them closer to finding Toni. Tension builds as Toni begins her recovery with the help of a new friend, whose psychic profiling abilities for the FBI, link her to the Lake Tahoe team.
