This is my blogging bible Apr 07, 2008
By Goldie Davich
"Ste. Goldie"
Mr. Williams book is an easy to read, step-by-step guide to blog marketing. I am grateful to have a copy by my side as I am working on key word driven blog posts. I loved reading the case studies of different types of businesses. The case studies gave me ideas about how to come up with key word driven topics. I feel like I can sell my services to people with confidence because I use Doug's words to explain what it is I do when I say "I'm blogging". I wish I had a copy of this to book to give to everyone I work with. I would recommend this book to anyone looking to expand their online presence, whether you are a small business owner or a blogger looking to hone in your blogging skills. This book has clear and detailed information. This book reads like a blog, like a great blog: It's informative, current, relevant and specific. Sigh :-)
A Small Business Owners Roadmap to Blogging Mar 22, 2009
By Edward Bejarana Mr. Williams creates a good foundation for small business owners to use to support a new business blog. His writing style is in blog format which helped drill into my methods the feel of the correct length blog article.
From case studies to SEO to developing your target customer, everything was laid out in a logical pattern that felt right without being techy.
I do wish there would have been some more advanced topics, but the does leave open the possibility of a second book (hint hint). Specifically creating language to target specific customer personalities.
I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how blogging can be incorporated into your business as a marketing tool.
