Could be much better Oct 13, 2008 This book helps, but could be much, much better.
When I want to learn about anything IT, I buy one of the "Bible" books -- "The Excel 2007" Bible or "The Word 2007 Bible." They are very, very well done: very understandable even to those of us electronically challenged, well written, well illustrated, etc.
This was the only Blackberry book I could find and it pales in comparison with the "Bible" books. If there is ever a "Blackberry Bible," this "...Made Simple" book will be useful only for recycling.
As long as it is all there is, it's OK... but just barely.

Blackberry excess Aug 03, 2008 From one extreme to another
The "manual" which is supplied with the Blackberry is so elementary that many features remain mysterious to the new user.
This book supplies so much detail that many features of the Blackberry remain mysterious unless the reader has unlimited time to read through excessive detail.

Awesome Aug 03, 2008 This book is like a ...excuse the term..."bible" for my new blackberry curve...without this book I know that I would have never used my blackberry to the fulllest!

Informative Resource Jul 22, 2008 Very informative and easy to navigate. Great for new Blackberry users and experienced BB users as well.

A very worthy resource for Blackberry Curve Owners Jul 19, 2008 It has been a while since I have used the Blackberry (about 3-4 years) and they have come a long way since this time. I wanted a resource that would allow me to hack my Blackberry a little more -- something beyond the basics. Ok, so this is a resource more geared towards the beginner. There is lots of good information organized in TAB format so that it can be easily accessed.
The only negative I found about the book (and my reason for giving it 4 stars) is the format choice. The fonts are amateurish at times and the margins are so wide that the book could have been created slightly thinner and taller. Perhaps I am being too picky.
