Good news - you have the skills for both good parenting and a great marriage they are just not being applied to the best areas. This is a quick read and has worked great for me. I apply the ideas henceforth.

I just added this book to my short list of books that I plan to read at least annually. Excellent, profound and concise wisdom on marriage and parenting! I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking to improve their spousal and/or parent-child relationships. It's essentially a couple of years worth of counseling sessions for only the cost of a book.
