Liz Galinauskas is a wife, the mother of three grown children and the owner of Healed Heart Creations. While her children were young Liz operated a licensed home child care facility in Massachusetts. During the seven years of providing high quality child care, Liz participated in several parenting workshops presented by Wheelock College and took continuing education classes in Early Childhood Education. As her children grew, Liz shifted her focus to postpartum care and provided in home support to parents of newborns. Liz is also a trained Visiting Moms Volunteer. The Visiting Moms is a program of the Jewish Family & Children’s Service, Center for Early Relationship Support. The Visiting Moms Program provides nondenominational, free weekly one hour visits by a trained volunteer to new moms throughout the first year of their child’s life. The volunteer provides emotional support and helps the new mom find parenting resources in her area. Liz’s art business, Healed Heart Creations, is a colorful array of hand painted items all featuring Elizabeth, “The Healed Little Girl”
