Very helpful book with fun and easy secrets to change your body Nov 11, 2009 What I liked about this book is that the first part of the book was a journey of Heather's personal relationships and how that affected her in every way. I believe in order for women to appreciate the tools she is teaching in the 2nd part of the book that her story is helpful to read.
I like Secret #19 about using your intuition with food and exercise as I always get confused on what to do.
Secret #26 Welcoming the Journey of Personal Transformation. This part really helped me with change and how it is a journey and not a race.
I love knowing that creating your ideal body is an inside job.
I highly recommend this book and it's an easy and fun read with lots of tools you can work with. I find myself easily slimming down and finding myself more positive about everything.

Not a good buy..... Aug 07, 2009 I like Heather's message and think her best medium is the radio. The book was not proof read and it is obvious! I prefer her on [...] where the message is clear. This is not worth the money......

Doesn't even Qualify as a Book- Don't Waste Your $ Apr 27, 2009 This is the worst of what can happen when someone publishes her own book. It's one step above getting a bunch of papers bound at the copy shop. I agree with the other reviewers: There was no editing (grammar and spelling are atrocious!), no fact-checking, and no redemptive literary qualities whatsoever. It's evident the positive "reviewers" are plants. Ms. Picken has no credentials and should not be dispensing advice. Her tale of teenage woe-turned-into-triumph is a case study in poor decision-making that's been dressed up in an attempt to sell books. At least this piece of garbage won't see the inside of a store. If you're looking for a self-help book, look somewhere else. Amazon has plenty of other titles, published by real publishers, written by credentialed authors, that are factual and proofread, to boot. The "book," especially the first part, reads like a series of bad journal entries. Here's an excerpt:
"John was made plans [sic] to visit me in Ohio. I was excited and had reserved a hotel room and made reservations for dinner. The night I expected him to visit I had waited for hours and he never showed up or even called me to let me know he wasn't coming..."
The writing speaks for itself. Even the Acknowledgments in the front are a scream, thanking those who've shared experience in.. "quantum physics and neuroscience..." Puh-leaze! This "author" can't get a grip on the English language, let alone physics or neuroscience. It sounds like Ms. Picken has attended one too many quack shows and has swallowed every morsel whole.

Body of Love 57 Apr 17, 2009 I thought this was one of the worst books i have read in some time. It was repetitive, disjointed and I doubt that I will ever finish reading it.
