5a real page turner  Sep 14, 2008

A great budding author! This book gives a new & fresh look at the world of vampires. Being an Illinois native myself, I found the use of local landmarks facinating. I'm eager to read the sequel

3It's a Screenplay!  Jun 12, 2007
By Michelle
This is a campy, suspense thriller with some gore and lust.

I think it lends itself well to a screenplay and should be considered for such. Sort of a mix between Bride of Chucky and Scary Movie.

Unfortunately, humorous references to Kojak, Scully and Mulder, Andy and Barney, may only be appreciated by the 35+ generation. Descriptions of physical scenary could be sharper. However, chase scenes did hold my attention.

If you have a quirky sense of humor, you will find the book amusing.

4Caution; contains absorptive material  Jan 19, 2007

Dave writes wonderful descriptions, I can see the monuments in the dusk. I would caution the reader that you will need to give yourself enough time to read. If you pick it up thinking you'll just read for 15 minutes, you find that these enticing characters have swiped an hour. Enjoy

4Bohemian Blood Bank  Jan 08, 2007
By Avid Illinois reader
Never having read much science fiction or vampire type novels, I haven't read anything like it - very original - hard to put down - intriguing plot - interesting characters. Mr. Theile needs to write a sequel to finish this story!
