Don't Miss It Oct 29, 2009
By Linda Ware

I literallly stumbled upon this book, going to the pharmacy for a prescription for allergies. The flyer advertised a book signing at oour local bookstore. What the heck, the title captured me and it was right here in town. What luck..I am proud to say I have a signed copy. This book is one of those books that you do not want to put down, but you have to, due to life. It is a thriller, heartbreaker, lover, informative, fun, laughing, crying, tense, ok I am not a writer, I am a reader and though, it might be a little too male for some females, if you can get past language of fisherman and young studs to get into this amazing action packed delightful piece of work, you will be a winner. This book, this author, this information, just hits it out of the part.
Books are a one of my huge passions. A really good book is hard to find and a really fantastic book, for me is better than gold. This book is gold and I wish I had copies to give to everyone I know, because I think it is just that fantastic and just that worth reading. It is a trip a ride you will feel from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.
Read this one.

Author's Comments Apr 06, 2009
By Rob I was four years writing this novel, and it paid off as everyone that reads it pleads for more. There is a sequel, a murder/thriller that takes place on and around the North Pacific (at Half Moon Bay). Also, I've optioned out the movie rights for "Bootlegger's Cove," and work on the screenplay has begun.
Enjoy....Rob Tillitz
This book is a must read ! Dec 04, 2011
By Virginia Degner This book is terrific! I especially liked the scenes of the Half Moon Bay Area where the smuggler's cove is and it's seeped in the history of the coast and the fishermen tales. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I have.

Excellent Read so far... Aug 26, 2009
By Rick Wow! I haven't been this captivated by a book in a long time. I really enjoy the "Gar" charactor and like most have said; have a hard time putting it down. Well done Mr. Tillitz. Looking forward to your next adventure...

Bootlegger's Cove May 19, 2009
By M. Johnson Gar Walton, who couldn't fall in love with this character? His passion for fishing, women, money and life filled these pages with a remarkable story. A story I could see clearly happening in my minds eye as I anxiously turned pages. It's a rare treat to awaken the five senses while reading and this book did just that.I felt myself holdiing my breath while Gar tried to escape death in the ocean he loved almost as much as he loved his women. His descriptive writing enabled me to feel and see clearly, the trials and tribulations of a commercial fisherman, law and order, justice, love, and money.
This book has easily earned a spot in "My Favorite Five Books"
I can hardly wait for the next...
