Born To Be Hurt

Born To Be Hurt is the tragic story of Melanie Daniels. She was a loving mother who was oversensitive and seemed to gravitate towards men who abused, tortured, and at the same time fulfilled her insatiable sexual desires. She was abused by her father when she was a child, and brought up by a mother who seemed too tired to give her the love she craved. She married the first man with whom she hopelessly fell in love. She went about her life experiencing the whole gamut of human emotions from the sublime to the utterly depraved. Some of her tragedies were of her own making brought on by her naiveté and misdirected sense of adventure. She was the victim of circumstances for many other disastrous events in her life. The tragedy of Melanie's life was not warranted. She was really a fine compassionate individual who endured the worst kinds of betrayals, humiliations, and torture as she desperately sought to be loved and to love.

5Awesome book  Aug 28, 2007
By Kassandra L. Martin "Kassandra"
I started reading this book yesterday, and I could not put it down. Everywhere I went I took the book with me hoping to get a chance to read a little bit more. I finished the book this morning and what a great book! I am hoping this wonderful author, Marielle O'Connor Mosley, continues to write more. As far as I am concerned this is a must read!
