5Delightful dog hero  Feb 02, 2007
This is a delightful book for animal lovers of all ages with an intrepid and inventive dog hero. A finely tuned sense of humor and subtle life lessons resonate throughout the book.

5For Lucky Readers :)  Dec 11, 2006
Children and adults can relate to this sweet story of a dog whose talents and playfulness aren't always appreciated. Brigadoon is a lovable dog and readers are lucky to meet him.

5A Nice Story Even for an Old Man  Nov 16, 2006
I was given Brigadoon's Luck as a gift and read it. I loved it. Sometimes it is nice to sit back and hear a simple, but moving story. I am embarrassed to say that at 94 I did not know what a Border Collie was so I also learned something new which is always nice. I like the way the author told the story from the dog's point of view, helping me to learn even more about what a Border Collie is and does. As an author myself, I found that it was clear and well written. I recommend it to people of all ages!

5One for the Ages  Nov 11, 2006
I just loved this book. It was not only pleasure read for a 40 year old man but it will be even more fun to read to my 3 year old daughter. The book touched my heart as it will for anyone who loves animals and/or has children. It is the perfect book to begin your child on the road to reading for the sake of reading. I highly recommend this book.

5Charming book  Nov 06, 2006
This is a charming story of a young dog who has difficulty finding his place in the world. The text is simple but subtle, and the drawings are absolutely adorable. It is a wonderful discussion-provoker for an older young child (4-6), and a great introduction to the ideas that what you do can be misinterpreted, and that you may be misinterpreting things that others do.
