A great primer on gay dating! Mar 12, 2009 Brining Perfect Back is a great primer to the world of gay dating and relationships. Many gay men find themselves having to start "dating" later than our heterosexual friends do. Bringing Perfect Back explores numerous real life situations that modern gay struggle with. Thoughtful and thought-provoking real life advice.

Thorough & Easily Understood Jan 13, 2009 I found this book to be right on in its concepts and approach. It also helped that it applied to both my dating and my relationship experiences. I really enjoyed the author's use of examples and questions/answers throughout the book. It helped me to see myself and more easily get the point. Sometimes I've felt blind to my own "programming" around dating and relationships. Now I think I can see better what's been driving me and how to overcome some of my old habits. I recommend this book to people dating and in relationships.

Honest and Realistic Dec 17, 2008 With regard to the above critique: I wrote the endorsement on the back of this book, for no compensation greater than the flattery of being asked to do so. However - upon reading BINGING PERFECT BACK again I found my very high opinion unchanged. It may well be that there's a lack of 'scientific evidence' in the material, but I have rarely been impressed by strings of data and polling results when delivered in the volatile context of seeking romance. Far better to address, as this book does, the various twists and turns made by most of our hearts when we pursue meaningful relations. BPB isn't legitimate therapy and it isn't a solid, dripping-with-stats reference. It pretends to be neither. It just is what it purports to be - a realistic, sensible, sometimes insightful and often humorous helpmate to the gay man who's ready to get serious.

Weak, highly opinionated advice Dec 09, 2008 The writing in this self-published book is weak and poorly edited, and has an obvious bias: the promotion of the author's match-making service. There is little scientific foundation for the advice given. I can not recommend this book.

The "perfect" guide for today's gay male... Dec 05, 2008 While not a read to be taken casually, thru it's relevance and humor; it is quite an enjoyable read! Asking those sometimes obvious questions that don't have obvious answers, Bringing Perfect Back made me give pause to search deep for the answers within myself that I previously never gave appropriate time or attention to. It's also good to note that this guide isn't just for those in search of the perfect partner, but very useful for those who think they may have already found him. Bringing Perfect Back's discussion on topics that while may not be unique to gay relationships yet have their own special nuances within one, are helpful in guiding us guys thru this sometimes rocky terrain called love.
