Wendie Oct 22, 2009
By Wendie I really like this book! It was recommented by a friend. I was not sure from the title. I though it was going to be more of a real girly book where the big strong guy saves the princess. But it was not at all. What I really like was the action was though the whole book. The Heroine was great and for once I did not know the ending or all the bad guys till the end. I hope the author writes an other.

Very fun characters, fast-paced story line Sep 18, 2009
By V. Young With a dead body already on page one, this book keeps sweeping you right along to the final chapter. There's no time to just sit on the veranda with a julep while Victoria chases bad guys, romances good guys, and rebuilds her life. The characters - both the good guys and the not - are well-drawn, original and interesting, and just plain fun to get to know. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time in LA with this cast, and hope Ms. Brown has a sequel ready soon so I can visit Tori and Harsh again.

Bullets and Tiaras Sep 08, 2009
By A. Rodgers Victoria Dixon Hughes is a Texas beauty queen with more on her mind then keeping on her crown. A master in the martial-arts, Victoria just seems to attract TROUBLE. She arrives in LA trying to forget her past and is plunged into a world of gangs and violence. Victoria is not a cop but she may as well be. She just can't seem to help being in the wrong place at the right time. Victoria has just the right mixture of feminine strength and intellect that can disarm those around her. With her new cop friends, Victoria takes on LA in this action-packed adventure. As an avid fan of Sue Grafton, Janet Evanovich and Iris Johanson, I am excited to add to my list of favorite authors. I hope that Bullets and Tiaras is just the first book featuring this engaging new character.
Fast Paced & Fun Reading Dec 10, 2009
By Raven I really enjoyed this book. It grabbed my attention on the first page and held my attention to the last line. Great heroine, smart, sassy and deadly. Bullets & Tiaras satisfied my fantasy of vigilante justice. Tori's got it all, beauty, intelligence, money and more. She's a crack shot, handy with a knife, and trained in the martial arts. The book has plenty of action, romance and suspense that carries you from cover to cover. I am looking forward to the next book and the continued adventures of Victoria Dixon Hughes.
