Compelling, fresh and entertaining. Sep 10, 2002

I found Buzz to be a particularly unique story of failed love and personal redemption. Madison Morgan breaks up with the man she was sure was her soulmate - and goes on to find out that she can be not only her own soulmate, but stand on her own two feet as well. After reading a stockpile of Bridget Jones knock-off books that all offered the same hackneyed plot points I found Buzz to be really fresh and entertaining. The story is told with a humorous tone, however as one reads on they discover that there are many layers to the characters Maddie, Willy, Jerry and Al. I was really enthralled with Maddie by the end of the book and was very sorry to see the story end...my only hope is that the rumor of a sequel is true!

"BUZZ" is absolutely exciting! Jul 09, 2002
By Debra Fox I couldn't put "BUZZ" down. Maddie, as well as the rest of the characters, were completely brought to life by Carrie. I enjoyed this book as much as I would a Dean Koontz book. I can't wait until the next book comes out! Highly recommend it to everyone. Thanks Carrie for bringing such wonderful and exciting characters to life!!

Great winter day read. Jan 14, 2003
I read this book over the weekend and really had a good time with it. Excellently written, the characters of Willie, Maddie, Jerry, Meriel and of course Jane Russell (the dog) made me smile. I only hope that all publicists have this much fun!

A real page turner Jun 29, 2002
This is the best summer read ever! Willy and Al seem so authentic and the way Maddie manages to get in and out of trouble is quite funny. I'm giving this one out to all my friends.

Really fun -- also touching Jun 29, 2002
I was given this book by a friend and was really surprised by how much I like it! I usually only like more hard edged novels or non-fiction, but this book really kept the ball rolling in terms of my interest. I enjoyed the main character Maddie's progress and growth. It's refreshing to read a story that has a fresh ending and a relevant, honest theme.
