CHIPPED AWAY

One of Silicon Valley’s newest chipmakers is struggling to survive. The CEO receives an ultimatum from the financiers - improve the sagging fortunes of his fledgling company, or face ouster. Desperate to retain control, he launches an unusual scheme to raise money quickly. The employees fall into two distinct groups. Those blinded by dreams of stock option wealth ignore the warning signs around them. Others become troubled by the increasingly bizarre events that ensue. One of the new employees, who initially desires to stay uninvolved, becomes reluctantly enmeshed in the web of lies and violence until he is forced to fight for his life.
