California Promises was an engaging read and hard to put down. I started reading on Friday and was done by Sunday. I enjoyed reading about the adventures of Joey and Steve on the way to their dream life on the road.
This novel will appeal to the twentysomethings who can relate to the angst of having to someday start their boring grown up jobs. It will also appeal to the fiftysomethings who gave up on their own dreams along the way.
I also enjoyed the love story when Joey meets his soul mate during the journey. California Promises
