Caribbean Medical Schools: A Journey and Guide

'Caribbean Medical Schools: A Journey and Guide' is written by a recent graduate of a Caribbean Medical school. He takes you through the entire process including: admission, financial aid, USMLE tests, clinical rotations, work visas, and how to get a residency in the United States. Statistics show that 50 out of 100 American Pre-Med students do not gain admission into medical school in the U.S., and 85 out of 100 Canadian Pre-Med students do not gain admission into medical school in Canada. Many students give up on their dream of becoming a physician. But you don't have to! There is a completely reasonable and proven alternative to American and Canadian medical schools. Caribbean Medical Schools offer the first two years of medical school in the Caribbean and the third and fourth years of medical school at hospitals in the U.S. or Canada. After graduation you can obtain post graduate training in the U.S.! Get step by step information on the entire process, all in this book!

THis book is awesome and will help you out ALOT. But if you are serious about going to the caribbean you need to do so much more research than this. You need to educate yourself extensively on many schools because this is an important decision and this book is only a small part of it all. I recommend you read the book and go and visit as many schools as you can.

I can proudly say that this book brings very detailed information about medical schools journey in the Caribbean and hands over the tools (and his personal experience) you need to succeed. I'm attending Windsor Medical School in the Caribbean soon and this book gives great up-to-date information for the journey ahead. I got in touch with the author and he was very helpful in resolving any questions i had.

Thank you Dr. Asad Raza

5Read BEFORE choosing an overseas med school  Jun 05, 2009
By Suspirar "Suspirar"
The graduates of some overseas medical schools are not accepted for licensing by some states in the United States. This book explains it. You can go through years of medical training and find yourself unable to work in the state that you desired. Read this book BEFORE you choose an overseas medical school.
