Rima Rudner - "Choose to be Happy" Dec 16, 2008
By Spencer A. Shiffman
"3-Time Cancer Survivor"
After battling cancer 3 times over a period of 22 years, and enduring a very difficult relationship recently, the most poignant reading and message comes from Rima Rudner. Straight forward, to the point and really showing how to overcome the negativity in these areas amongst life itself. I've read all of the top "self help" gurus, from Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, Dale Carnegie et al. Rima lets you know how to deal with life, today in 2008 and for the rest of your life. Truly a must read!!

Intuitive and insightful, Rima Rudner wants you to join her by "Choosing to be Happy!" Nov 09, 2007
By I. P. King Rima Rudner's victory over past physical and emotional challenges gives her readers true faith and trust in her words on happiness. She clearly states how to embrace it, maintain it and "choose" happiness for a fullfilling life. Due to Ms. Rudner's wit, intuition, insight, straight-forward style of writing and love of people; we should all have a copy of her book on our shelf!
Paramabansa Yogananda; a great spiritual leader wrote: It does not matter whether or not one fully comprehends the day-to-day enigmas of life. What is important is to be resolute in the search for the True Happiness, the Joy that is the origin of one's being.
Ms Rudner's experiences have taught her this truth and we are fortunate that she is sharing her knowledge with us. A BIG THANK YOU!!!!

Upbeat and accurate!! Nov 07, 2007
By J. Fitzgerald This book was an eye opener for me. I did not quite realize how many unhappy people surround us. This book does not only identify the unhappiness in people, but offers a new outlook on life for many of us.
I loved her life story and how through positive thinking and the shedding of the "toxic" people in her life, she became the happy person she is now. Her willingness to share this with the world shows great unselfishness.
Everyone should read this book, because there is something for everyone in it, happy or unhappy!
I highly recommend it.

Bravo!!!! Fun Reading with a Message. Nov 07, 2007
By Carla E. Solomon Rima Rudner obviously has an insight into the most
important aspect of our emotional well being. She
does it in a story telling way with a great sense of
humor, which also makes for enjoyable and easy reading.
I strongly recommend this book, even for those who are
reasonably happy with their lives. We can all benefit
from it.

Defy your Unhappiness Genes - Read this Book! Oct 31, 2010
By Becca Chopra If you were born of happy parents, wake up happy and raring to go, move on to a different book. However, like the author and half the people in the world, if you come from a family with "unhappy" genes, you have to fight unhappiness like an addiction, says Rudner. She gives this book a new twist, citing many studies showing a genetic predisposition to being unhappy. But she also offers solutions - from "Magic Formulas for Joy," "Create Inner Peace," "Refuse to Worry," to "Get rid of toxic people in your life." Since she has a background in comedy, I thought she had mafia connections to suggest, but rather, she took this subject seriously and I plan on using and passing on many of the tools she offered. You have to make changes, and they may not be as easy as slipping back into a "victim" role. But Rudner's book can be taken a chapter at a time, with tools that build upon each other until you may find yourself happy despite your dark inheritance of depression. Simply waking up in the morning and deciding to be happy is the first step - read the book and take it from there!
Namaste, Becca Chopra, author of The Chakra Diaries
