One of the Best Jan 17, 2010
By Roger Thoman I have read and worked with a lot of coaching material and Tony's book on destiny discovery and calling is one of the best. This book is a must for every practicing, Christian coach and also an invaluable tool for those who are on a self-discovery process and want to more thoroughly understand their own life purpose. The approach taken in this book is extremely comprehensive as Tony takes presents a clear explanation of God's processes for leadership development along with exercises that are concise and powerful. The tools that are provided chapter after chapter provide an incredible gateway into grasping one's design and make-up and how these relate to the roles, tasks, and life message a leader is called to walk out.

Christian Life Coaching Handbook Jan 29, 2010
By Gregg Glutting This is the most incredible book I've read on life coaching. I've marveled at the material as it is easy to apply with profound results. I've used this book with several clients and the results have been life changing for each of them. The over 60 tools are straightforward easy to use, yet full of insight and wisdom so they can be applied in most any situation. My clients have thanked me over and over for leading them through these exercises, but truthfully, it's been Tony's materials that they have applied that has been life changing. And the best part of the book is that it culminates into forming a Life Purpose Statement. Those who use this book are able to bring all of the pieces together to enable the client to lay of their destiny, their God given purpose. The workbook is a great companion book for the client to use as the coach leads them through the handbook.

Fresh Look at Life Purpose and Destiny Sep 04, 2009
By Dr. Jerry Graham
"Coaching You to Your Destiny"
Tony has done it again! The coaching books he writes are the gold standard in the coaching industry. His latest, Christian Life Coaching Handbook, brings some new thinking to the age-old question that every person asks at one time or another, "Why am I here? What is my purpose?" Having coached many people through these questions in my practice as a Destiny Coach, Tony significantly broadened my understanding with his section (multiple chapters) on Calling. Tony points out that a Life Purpose without a call is inherently self-centered, and by definition obviates the mandate for every Christian to be like Christ. Obviously, each person is equipped to do their being like Christ in a unique way, but without an understanding of their call they are not focused on the need to serve a greater good. Great insight by a great coach and a great author of coaching resources.

The Model for Christian life purpose discovery Oct 08, 2009
By Russ W. Rainey
"Russ Rainey, Ph.D."
There are many good books on the market that can help a person discover more meaning in life, but I know of no great books on destiny that integrate the biblical idea of allegiance with God as the first and most crucial step in the journey. In this book, Tony Stoltzfus puts first things first and then provides a clear model - a path to follow that helps a believer work through specific tasks to find the convergence of passion, preparation, design and calling - what we might call "purpose in life". This book and the process it presents is something that every Christian should have access to. Don't just get a copy for yourself. Get at least one other to share with a friend so you can have a life-changing conversation.

excellent read for accountability partnerships as well Nov 09, 2009
By Randall G. Neighbour I'm using the content of this book, like Stoltzfus' other excellent coaching books, in my personal accountability time each week. Typically, my accountability partners become bored or lazy after a year or two of meeting together. The content of this book is helping us move in the right direction instead of simply avoiding sin (the wrong direction).
I recommend this book for any Christian who wants to grow personally and help others take personal responsibility for their own growth in many areas of life and ministry.
