Circle of Tears

Like the dolphins that kept young Elian safe while adrift on the ocean, Jeanne Marie Antoinette's debut memoir explores the spiritual undercurrents to the national and international headlines. A close friend to the boy's lawyer, Antoinette offers tremendous insights to the psychic battle being waged between America and Cuba, Elian's father and his American-based relatives, and the personal journey she encountered in discovering her own deep attachment to a seemingly distant news event. Clearly written and simply told, CIRCLE OF TEARS cuts through the posturing and politics to tell a perfectly human tale in an ever-increasing imperfect world ruled by media and governments.

5Intriguing Insight on an International issue.  Aug 26, 2001
"Circle of Tears" is captivating as it reveals the Spiritual Phenomenon of Elian Gonzalez. This is a book that is so well written that I was not able to put it down until it was finished. This information gives greater understanding about the circumstances that surrounded the Elian Gonzales event. The deep spiritual informatioon can be a real eye and heart opener for readers who are open to greater understanding of spiritual influence and significance. The author's style is not only captivating, but also causes the reader to consider various possibilities. Many different emotions are experienced as the pages are turned. I enjoyed this book as much as "The Camino" by Shirley Maclaine.

5A Different Point of View of the Elian Gonzales Saga  Aug 02, 2000
As an American living in South Florida, I just couldn't understand why one little boy was so important until I read this book. It was beautifully written and evoked every emotion from tears to laughter. It's a must to read.
