5city sidewalk salad  Dec 27, 2009
By George B. Thomson
I saw this in manuscript form, and I must say, I was enthused and amused from the outset. Ms. Briere has captured a segment of the natural world that has not, to my knowledge, been explored. Her book is thorough, informative, light-hearted and easy on the eyes as well as the brain. If you live in an urban environment, or even close to one, buy this book and become more fully informed about all that stuff that grows everywhere, and then, of course, go make a salad with what you find.

4bad binding  Apr 21, 2012
By homemaker333
Bought this book and received it quickly, but when I opened the book it fell apart, the binding just gave way. some of the printing was blurry and unreadable.
The pictures where great the info in the book was great.
I did return the book for a new one due to the printing error, when I received the new one same thing bad binding but the printing was better.

3Good Book  Mar 02, 2012
By Stephen Rudyk
The book itself is good. It would have been nice if it were more expansive, but overall learning what plants are edible could keep you alive. One thing I am extremely disppointed with was the fact that after I opened the book a few times (3 or 4) the entire binding system failed and all the pages just came loose. This is very disappointing and I am not sure what recourse I have. I would think that a better binding system should be used. maybe I just have a crappie book.
