Spectacular! Sep 17, 2009
By Michael Houck Colonial Spy is a compelling, vivid and even provocative novel set at a time that most history books overlook, the time between Valley Forge and Yorktown.
It provides an eye opening glimpse into the personal and local level as the British unfolded their almost successful Southern Strategy; Neighbors fought their neighbors, often about things only indirectly linked to loyalty to the colony or to the Crown.
I have purchased additional copies with presenting them as Christmas gifts in mind & imagine that readers in the southern part of this country would enjoy this book even more with their proximity to the location of the setting.
