5We're ALL born color blind  Aug 28, 2008
By Cheryl Escalante "Proud Mom"
This book is a very easy read... follows the story of a young lad whose eyes are opened as a result of his parent's prejudice at a young age. Continues as he ages and is presented with his own prejudice in school... and follows his life through a life-changing experience in the military...
A MUST READ for young and old, students, military... It IS possible to revert to the pre-prejudice color blindness we have when we are born... Let it NOT require a horrible trajedy in our lives...

5A reflection that makes us look within ourselves  Dec 19, 2011
By Gia Laurel
Mr. Woody brings you with him from childhood to adulthood with short stories in vivid detail and wit. But with each step makes the reader look inside themselves and how they view other people. Color Blind is a easy read for preteen on up and would be of value for group discussions on the main subject. The only downside I found in the book was I wanted more, more witty stories, I wanted to walk along with him in other stories, but the worst... there was no conclusion? But should there have been? I believe Mr. Woody wants the reader to look at themselves to find the question and more importantly, what they can do for the right answers. I look forward to reading more books like Color Blind from the this author in the future.

5Great Book, waiting for the next one  Dec 12, 2011
By Pat Thomas
Phillip writes about being a young lad raised in the South. He writes about his experiences with racial issues. He grows up and joins the service, he shares a life changing event with his readers. Looking forward to read his next book.

2Wanted more  Nov 14, 2010
By Hang Loose "Capt D"
I found the story a basic but limited view of the main characters growing up in the south. The title promised something that never really materialized. Good book for starting discussions plus it is a quick read.

5A MUST READ FOR ALL AGES  May 19, 2009
By Cecil Montoya "Cecil"
I read this book within a day... totally awesome! A book for all ages to read. A valuable 'life' lesson learned in every chapter...It's an amazing book to read and a book that must be shared. This is not a book you'll want to store on a shelf!
