Cottage by the Sea is a story about how the community of Santa Cruz supported the Adrian Dominican Sisters grow their health care ministry from the time they opened Sisters' Hospital in 1941 to when they joined Catholic Healthcare West in 1988. The book shares the colorful stories of over sixty-five people interviewed by the authors--including physicians, nurses, board members, guild members, employees and volunteers.
