Courthouse

Compelled by fear, obsessed with responsibility, rookie lawyer Jermaine Tyson struggles to get a handle on his first big criminal case. What he doesn't know is that someone behind the Courthouse scenes is pulling all the strings.

Thwarted by the legal system, the judge and a crafty prosecutor, not to mention his own client, Tyson finds himself on a runaway train that tears through the Courthouse, the county jail and high-profile law firms. His only salvation is being partnered with veteran criminal defense lawyer Tony Cariola. Cariola steadies the rattled rookie only to find himself the victim of a well-crafted scheme devised by the last person he would suspect.

No it isnt. I know this because I know the author,(Uncle)
Look him up he also authored "How To Buy A Franchise".

Was a very good book, kept a hold on your interest till the very end, when you get the biggest surprise of all.
