5Cows CAN be purple  Mar 14, 2007
By D. Hermon "d'angel"
Too often we are structured into what art should be, what things should look like. Sadie Dreikurs book frees us up to understand that art can be whatever we make it and if we want to make purple cows then we make purple cows. A very inspiring book with lots of ideas and activities to help explore our own art.

5the art of encouragement  May 05, 2002
By Jean Mendoza
Sadie "Tee" Dreikurs had a remarkable life among remarkable people, including Rudolph Dreikurs, Alfred Adler, Jane Addams. I had the privilege of studying art therapy with her at the Adler School in Chicago. Her manner with students was extraordinary. This book provides a window on what it means to be a profoundly encouraging teacher and healer -- as Tee was. I highly recommend her book.
