Aziza's book is a God sent. It is filled with knowledge of our Nubian ancestors of Kemet(Egypt)which few books acknowledge as the first civilization which was Black. Aziza give us a sampling of a proud heritage of Kings and Queens where woman had power and ruled this once great land filled with rich culture, art, language and scholars. The Dogan who continued to practice the nubian priesthood till today. She gives great examples of their early travel to the America's where their monuments still stands today. The Mayan and the Tsalagi (Cherokee nation) and their influence from early African travelers way before Columbus and his crew thought about the "new world". Aziza enriched us with this wonderful book in an instructional way to teach young and old with food receipts and traditional attire. I have tried the foods with my family and they really enjoyed it. I recommend this book for teachers and family to be a great addition to your library for teaching.
