5Great way to understand the pitfalls and then success of your company!  Mar 09, 2011

I was pleasantly surprised at the depth that Worst went into to discuss the issues that face all companies. She did not shy away from discussing why so many companies accept mediocre to just plain bad managers. She actually gave a laundry list of those attributes of a bad manager and it will made me think about the people I had worked for in the past and also my own faults at times. I think the thing I liked most was Worst's approach on recognizing the true stars of the company and how to not only recognize them, but most importantly, keep them. Specifics are given over most of the book and they are explained in enough detail to be applied in your own business. Inspirations quotes are used often and I tend to like that. It helps set-up what will be coming. Overall, I would recommend this book to any business owner or leader who truly wants to change their company in a dynamic way. But you have to be willing to face your own demons, as it is so well put in the book.
