5Thought Provoking  Aug 06, 2007
I have read this book twice. The first time it was to really feel the raw emotion of the book. The second time it was to gauge the actual writing.

I know that some have felt persecuted by this book and that is understandable. However, I feel that the author was COMPLETELY honest about herself as well. Never during the entire book did I feel that the author was trying to diminish her responsibility of her actions. There was lots of raw emotion, but this is what made the book relatable. I read a lot and most books that are autobiographies DO put the main "character" in the best light. I am happy to say that Ms. Cunningham put herself out there, warts and all.

I would also like to comment on my personal feelings I felt while reading the book. It really makes you think that you never know what people are going through. Ms. Cunningham has been through so much and she has done well to come out on the other side. I would suggest this book to anyone that enjoys reading autobiographies. Prepare to be shocked.

2Matthew 7:3-5  Jun 25, 2007
I read the book in February and I was one of the "characters" mentioned in the biography. I didn't realize we could make comments on this website until recently. I will not use hurtful words or make immature comments towards the author or the characters of the book; however, I will comment that it's ashame someone would go to the level of exposing another persons private life without consent (whether it's true or not) to make a small profit. Not everyone is perfect and EVERYONE makes mistakes; therefore, it's always important look at the positive points in an individuals life versus the negative. Yes, the author had a difficult life, which is perceptibly heartbreaking, but putting other people down to make another person feel better it not always the answer. I know that the author and certain mentioned characters of book respect the bible and has the utmost love for our heavenly father; therefore, I think this scripture would be appreciated by both. As recorded at Matthew 7:3-5, he said: "Why, then, do you look at the straw in your brother's eye, but do not consider the rafter in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother: `Allow me to extract the straw from your eye'; when, look! a rafter is in your own eye? Hypocrite! first extract the rafter from your own eye, and then you will see clearly how to extract the straw from your brother's eye." The rafter in their eyes was their lack of love, mercy, justice and faithfulness. Yet they saw fit to criticize those whose faults were tiny straws in comparison! This is just like the world we live in today. Do not nations, races, political parties, marriage mates, friends yes, people in all walks of life find it easy to condemn others in an unloving manner while having the same or more glaring shortcomings themselves? Being unmerciful toward others means that one does not recognize, or else is ignoring, a great fundamental truth. Have a great day.

1very boring  Apr 15, 2007
This book was very WACK it was a lot of lies being portrayed and I guess anybody would do anything so they don't have to work!!!! what a sorry excuse for a book and waste of paper!!!!!

5A Great Read  Apr 05, 2007
This book was amazing. I know the author because we went to school together. I never knew the things herr was going through because she came to school each day like she owned the world. You would not have known that outside of school, she was living in hell.

I recommend that everyone should read this book because you never know how one person's life experiences can become helpful to you down the road.

5Absolutely MOVING!  Feb 27, 2007
This book is a definite page turner and kept me on the edge of my seat, and laughing. When I wasn't crying....I couldn't put it down...I was totaly shocked, I didn't know what to say and I wrote it.....It is an **Anticipated Bestseller, and hopefully on the way to motion picture.
Sincerely, Daminika Cunningham (author)

As for the comments of T.Fayette on 4-14-07 listed two places above this comment. She's a liar and just mad because she is in the book and portrayed as she really is. There are no lies in this book as she would like for you to believe. She wants to make herself look better but I don't think thats possible.
