There is hope! Nov 23, 2009 Yet another review from an insider... What to do? I'll try not to gush. This is a welcome updating of "The Second Birth", Bob Valine's compilation of accounts of awakening within the Waking Down in Mutuality community. In what sense updated? There are some new accounts -- not only of awakenings, but of their sequelae -- one of which I found unbearably moving and at the same time hugely inspiring. I won't say which, because I don't want to devalue any of the other contributions. They all have something special to offer. Instead of the short introduction by Saniel Bonder, the founder of WDM, which prefaced "The Second Birth", there is now an excellent interview by Bob Valine with Saniel and his wife Linda. This is perhaps the best starting point for those who want to find out more about WDM. So - I haven't gushed all that much. If you are a seeker and still somehow filled with divine discontent, this could be the pot of gold you have been seeking - and it's not, oh no, at the end of the rainbow. You're sitting on it, buddy.
I highly recommend it! Nov 17, 2009 As a teacher of the Waking Down in Mutuality awakening work, I highly recommend this compilation of awakening stories. Embodied consciousness awakening is possible for everyone who deeply desires it. The stories in Bob Valine's book open the door for the recognition that one does not have to be perfected and one does not have to have many years of meditation under one's belt to awaken to oneself. This is very powerfully illustrated by the multitude of characters and life stories of the contributing individuals. Get inspired for your own awakening!

Every story a gift! Aug 09, 2009 This book will show you how ordinary people awaken to the vastness of who they truly are. The stories will make you laugh, cry, think, feel and shift the way you look at "enlightenment".
There is a transmission of energy that you can't help but feel as you read through these heart-touching experiences.
Open your mind, open your heart and don't hesitate to open this book - you'll be glad you read it!
Thank you Bob Valine for your time and energy in making this available to us all. What a gift.

In Gratitude Aug 08, 2009 Saniel Bonder and Linda Groves-Bonder gave me a gift beyond measure. They gave me myself. Before I met them and experienced their work as leaders of Waking Down in Mutuality, I had been living a very full life, successful, relatively happy with family and friends and my career as a teacher. But there was a sense that something was missing, a realness, a grounding in myself and my life. I didn't know what that was. I had been with a number of spiritual teachers and communities seeking the wholeness, the completeness they promised. I had many wonderful experiences, "awakenings," shifts into a sense of myself as all that is, as oneness, as love. And I was very grateful, but it wasn't enough. Then I met Saniel and Linda and something totally different, unexpected, and mysterious happened. Their love, compassion, and humanity helped me find my way into my body, my life, my heart in a way that I didn't know was possible. That was almost nine years ago. Over the years I've continued to deepen into myself, discovering more and more fully my talents and what I need to share with others. Even more amazing has been the healing of deep wounds and the freedom, compassion, and strength that brings. I owe Saniel and Linda so much beyond what a few words can say. In gratitude I do my best to let others know that this gift of a full and amazing life is possible for many, many others. Dancing in the Fire is my way of sharing them with you.
