This well written story took me on an emotional rollercoaster. My father is a Vietnam Veteran, and this shed some light on why he would sometimes "be somewhere else." While my brother, sister, and I were growing up, we knew that Dad had some memories / ghosts, but never could a non-soldier truly understand what horrors stain a memory.

This book runs deep, and takes the reader into the jungles of Vietnam, then, slamms the reader back into the today. Dark Matter is a Vietnam Vet's journey, but could be any American Son or Daughter returning from any war. I recommend to any soldier or friend of one. It will make you a better friend.
